Mortgage Advice

For any need...

As an independent mortgage adviser, I keep your best interests firmly at the forefront of any advice I give.

My independence means I have access to a wide array of lenders, so that I can cater to an even wider array of clients' needs and circumstances.

I am also incredibly fortunate to have the Abacus administration team doing their utmost for clients to ensure the whole process is as smooth as possible, by co-ordinating with lenders, solicitors and estate agents from start to finish.

I am available to contact at any time before, during and after the mortgage process, and I actively encourage clients to speak to me whenever they have questions or concerns.

Taking a mortgage can be a stressful process, and I look to add value by supporting you with professionalism and honesty at all times.

I offer a no-cost, no-obligation initial meeting, where we can assess your current circumstances, establish your objectives and evaluate the options that may be available to you.

I will clearly inform you of the potential costs involved when explaining your options to you, so that you should have all the information you need to be comfortable with any decision you make.

I also aim to make you aware of any insurance needs or shortfalls that may need addressing.

Mortgages on, and equity released from, your home will be secured against it - your home could be repossessed if you do not keep up mortgage repayments.

My Approach

Step 1 - Establish Relationship

Inform you about the planning process, the services I can offer, and my competencies and experience. We will determine whether the services I offer could meet your needs and agree on the services to be provided.

Step 2 - Collect Information

We will identify your personal and financial objectives, along with your needs and priorities which are relevant to my engagement with you, before making recommendations. This involves collecting hard (quantitative) and soft (qualitative) facts about you and your circumstances.

Step 3 - Analyse and Assess your Financial Status

I will analyse your information and develop a thorough understanding of your circumstances. I can then assess the strengths and weaknesses of your current financial situation, and compare them to your objectives, needs and priorities.

Step 4 - Develop and Present Mortgage Recommendations

I'll then consider strategies relevant to your situation, and develop a recommendation that could meet your objectives, needs and priorities. I'll then present this plan to you along with my rationale for the recommendations, so that you can make an informed decision.

Step 5 - Implement Mortgage Recommendations

We will agree on the implementation, and I will also have identified appropriate products and services to work alongside the recommended plan.
